replaced gravel with sand

I hope I didn't screw up. I replaced the gravel in my african cichlid tank with play sand. I rinsed it well but the water is very cloudy in the tank. Will this clear up soon?

It will clear up though I don't know how long. I used Pool Filter sand and it has never clouded. Not even when I first put it in. That's why I went with it over Play sand.

My play sand never clouded either, sorry to say but it sounds like it wasn't washed enough mine took hours to do

my sand only took about 10 minutes to clean all of it, and never clouded at all.
But I didnt use playsand
