Ok to fill you in, ever since the last fish I got for my tank back in november, it brought in a bad bacterial strain, first tank had ich, then finrot, then columnaris, and my fighting fish currently has what seems to be a very small becterial lump on his ventral fin, and today I discover after weeks of regrowth his tail is tattered again.....
I just don't know what to do, whether maybe this is all due to the columnaris I couldn't even sure with tetracycline, do I just take my tank apart, clean it all and start from scratch, keep Odin and the remaining pleco out of there??
Do I take some previous advice off an lfs as they had some seriously strong meds that would knock out bacteria, not had any that did that yet......or maybe medicated food, but not sure how to get pleco to eat that too.....
I've got a QT tank currently with fish planned to go into my main tank but obviously if there are that big a problems I don't want them going in there unless I know it's safe....and it's obviously not.
Its all so annoying after adding Indian Almond Leaves lsat thursday to keep Odin happy, and just trying to do what's best for him, and it just starts again
Please help, need to know whether to just start again or try yet more meds.......but am sure Odin's immunity is down due to months of meds since november
