Removing Silicone Off Acrylic.

Just gotta quick question. I bought an acrylic tank recently from my lfs and on the side of the tank its got some crappy silicone work on it. Well anyways i know on glass you can gently use a razor blade but i dont wanna take that risk with acrylic. Well anyways is there anything I can use to remove it. Plus I heard warm vinegar doesn't work to well. Thnx!

There are a number of products on the market that soften silicon so you can just wipe it off. Try your local DIY/hardware store.
