Remove Carbon?

Do I need to remove the carbon in my twin filters when adding med? Will it hurt my filter to not have it there? Thanks.

Yes you must remove all carbon or zeolite. Else it will render the medication useless.

Also remember that carbon pads usualy only have a few weeks life span. Many people only ever use them to remove traces of mediation when switching meditation. Otherwise don't bother.

Whats zeolite?

Some filters have them in little bags. They are white/grey granules. Zeolite removes ammonia.
