Thanks Joby and others too!
I do think the melano female will breed too since the father is not a melano and the mother just carried melano geno. :) If the parent both are melano and been breed quite a few generations, then it has a possibility unfertile.
Almost 100% of melanos are bred from a melano male and a melano geno female, because melano females are usually infertile so it's kinda impossible for both parents to be melano :p
That's what I was trying to say... there's a very small possibility that your female is fertile, because it has been reported to happen at least once, but chances are she's not.
Hopefully she is, though, so it's worth breeding her just to see

AWESOME Frank! Nice to see your still breeding your beautiful bettas. Yes, Im back from my long hiatus since my last breeding time. Time for another go at it!

Hi Chino. Wou. long time didn't see you around. Oh yes, I will keep breeding my bettas of course. I just joined IBC and MBC too at the end. Finally I am going to build a 100 beanie bean barracks after this end semester. I have the plan going. Thinking of building a special fish room in my back house if I sold some more ceramics sculptures. :) LOL
So what did you breed? Betta? How are they doing? Wou love to hear what you been breeding. :p

Well my first time was a pair fromt the pet store, a vt and a some girl, didnt know her type. Now I am breeding the turquoise girl that you sent me with a vt. The yellow boy is still recovering from his accident and will probably be ready by the end of this month to start conditioning.
