Well we are taking slow, pottery steps in the right direction here! :kana:

I have furnished the tank with a few plastic plants- hoping to pick up some live plants that like low light levels next week, and the fish love them (1 RTBS, 1 clown loach, 5 penguin fish). I also put my foot down.. one of the bigger fish must go- I knew I could not get them to remove both as they are very popular.. I expressed a preference for the shark as he is a rotten bully and already looking too big for the tank...

And they agreed!!

If I can get the Aquarist to agree to take him, I can take him away next week!

Very very happy- I know things are not great for the poor clown loach but at least now he's not gonna be beaten to a pulp every day and he should get along much better with a couple of large corys for friends- though ideally he'd be elsewhere with friends...

I'll try again in the future- but if he goes anywhere I'd prefer him to go to someone I knew who already had some of these fish and a nice big tank for him to play in...

Aiming to finish off the tank with a few corys and some nice peaceful cardinals- much more serene!! :)

Oh, forgot to add, turned them on to dechlorinator and given self job of water changes!!

All fish still with us and looking fine despite some prior traumas!

Well done! it's certainly a step in the right direction!

Quantum theory, fishkeeping and toast, pretty impressive for $£19.99 plus tax! ;)

Aquarist is taking him!!!

The rotten horrid bully is OUTTA HERE! :kana:

Plus I definitely have a female cichlid for my male...

And my service/mot cost me less than expected by fifty quid...

It has been a good day! :)
