This is now about 3 weeks on with melafix - salt and once a day 100% water changes. The hole is almost closed and she/he is soooo friendly - comes to the top of the hospital tank whenever I go to kitchen and almost eats the pellets out of my fingers. Big change from the fish who would not eat for a week and had the huge chunk missing
