I found a really good website that had lots of info on typical marine setup fish that you may (or may not) expect to find in the majority of lfs.

I cant find it again anywhere. So if anyone knows of any good sites that list in a vague amount of detail basic compatibilities etc, that would be fab.

you just keep popping up with useful info everywhere, thanks mate!!

one of the black n white striped damsels i've got is exhibiting some weird behaviour. It lets itself rise by maybe 2/3inces in the currents, then flicks down lightning quick and repeats constantly for around 2/3 mins. Then is normal again for maybe 15/20, and repeat.

Also they are being harrased a little by the flame angel that is in there with them.

i'm considering your advice on removing them, but the gf like them a lot (the damsels) so need to be careful to avoid the wrath!!

another great site with craploads of accurate and useful info is wetwebmedia.com

Make sure you go on the Marine section and then do a search. Check that button below the search box that says to search wetwebmedia only. Invaluable info on that site. Some of the people that write for it has written marine books.

That site first linked to has a very iffy graph. You only need to look at the very inaccurate info on frogfish to see how far out they are.

I'll echo the recommendation for WWM.

No one using Fishbase anymore.
