OK, well still an Angel Fish newbie, but learning fast ! I've been keeping a close eye on the Angel Fish behaviour and I'm not sure what to do, but have a feeling one has to go.

Following from this thread, I have since also introduced two much smaller Angel Fish. Though they are mostly ignored by the two larger ones, the "Panda Koi" Angel (aggressor) relentless hounds the other much larger Angel (though they are both adults) and whenever a smaller one comes in sight, gives them a good nip and poke and chases them away.
The aggressor seems to patrol the tank and the other have to constantly hide and make sure they stay out of the way.

Should I just rehome the aggressor, or still stick with it a few weeks longer. Or introduce more ? :/

Rehome or eventually some of the other angels may stop eating. I've had this happen the first few times I kept angels and usually only the aggressor survives.
What size is your tank?

Thanks barracuda - I've decided to take it back to the shop and swap for 2 smaller ones instead. Bringing my total up to 5 Angels in a 100 US gallon tank. 4 Juvis and one very large (docile) adult.
Life is bliss now ! And the naughty fish has been banned to the shop (I've warned them about the aggressive behaviour). Guess I had to suspect something was up when this Angel was in its own tank while all other tanks contained Angels of various sizes.

Anyway, shame to see it go, but it had to be done.

well doen bloo, tough descision to make but it seem's you've made the right choice, and I'm glad your tank is all calm and happy now! :)

agressive fish take a bit of getting used to don't they!

I don't know how many times I have taken fish back to the shop for being to aggressive. The most missed one has to be my beloved 3 spot gourami that I had from about an inch long, that grew to about 5 inches - no joke, it was huge. It had always been peaceful, but then overnight it just seemed to become evil and relentlessly hassled the other fish. So i took it back to my lfs and the guy there gave me a fiver credit on fish, which is good seeing as I only paid like 2 quid for it :). It is still there after about 2 months - it has to be kept with the knife fish as it is too big and aggressive to keep with it's kind. Oh how I miss him :byebye:.
