Fish Crazy
I've just down-sized from my Rena classic tank (sold now) to a AR620, as I need a low maintenance tank (busy worklife = spare time should be spent with family, not fish tanks!)
Anyway, anubias do better with lower light levels, so I was thinking that rather than shade it with a local plant (used to be Java fern, but that now dominates the smaller tank to much), would using a floating plant (similar to duckweed, perhaps) give sufficient shade to give the anubias a good growing environment?
I'd be interested in your thoughts.
Lights are T8, with either 1.8wpg or 0.6wpg, depending if I have one or both lights on.
I'm also using FE based co2.
