Hi all

I've just fed my tank (see sig.) defrosted tubiflex + daphina. Put it into the tank and my catfish, loach and betta went crazy like they always do but all 12 of my tetras (6 head + tail, 6 Neons) are refusing to eat it. Normally they don't eat the daphina but they go mad for the tubiflex.

It's normal feeding time and the frozen food is about 3-4 weeks old.

Any ideas?

P.S. - Water Parameters are normal
NitrIte - <3Ppm
Ammonia - <3Ppm
pH - 7.5

How often do u feed this?
How many times in a day do u feed ur fish?
When was the last time you gave this to ur fish?
Have your tetra been reacting different lately?

I feed this every 4 days.
Feed my fish 2 times a day
Gave this to them 4 days ago
No, tetras acting normal

Hmmm...
How old is ur tank?
Have u done the fishless cycle?
Try feeding them again?
When was the last time u cleaned ur tank?

Hmmm... this is confusing, as you said the tetras are doing fine. Some1 else that is more expiernced would be required here. But IMO feed them something else, and then mix a little of the tubiflex with the regular stuff. See if they go for it.

The only one thing I can think of is...
I used pH adjustor the other day for the first time - could this be it? But surely the other fish would refuse to eat aswell, and like I say, the tetras are acting normal.
