Reflector Fell Out Of Aqurium Hood

This morning I looked into my Aquarium and the white sheet that had been attached to the hood behind the light had fallen down into the water. I believe I have a Hagen aqurium. What was this white sheet for? Was it a reflector for dispersing the light? Or was it to prevent damage to the canopy? I'm not sure what to do with it, any advice would be much appreciated.

If it's like the Rekord range of thanks from Juwel then it's probably just a reflector for the lighting. A little smidge of aquarium sealant applied to each side and replace will sort it out.
