Its tentacle things are very sticky and stretchy and it might be able to sting the pee out of you if it were to touch delicate skin, I'm not sure. That's my guess though. Some kind of anemone???

FYI the mystery anemone is a Manjo. Class as a pest by some they can breed out of control.

Nah. She has shed once, but that's it. She won't get much bigger as it is, she is a small species

Doesn't look like any majano I've ever seen! Infact I am 100% sure it's not, not only because I have a few in my other tank, but because I work at a fish store, and none of my coworkers could ID it either.

Planted FW tanks are my passion, but I have been looking at some reef nanos lately. Your first picture has made my mind up for me and I will definitely go for it some time. Great looking tank.

How much did that set up cost you, if you don`t mind me asking?

The most expensive thing was the lighting system, which was around $80 if I remember correctly and consists of 2 18W power compacts (one actinic) and a moonlight. About $50 worth of rock (but 35% employee discounts on that for me) and most of the corals were free, since they're just frags I found at work that we don't sell anyway. Maybe $200 tops. I got a really nice little alveopora frag for it today too, I guess my boss is clumsy and broke it off the main piece by accident... pics once that settles in and the polyps come all the way out. Looks like it's going to be blue/green!!! My big alveopora in the other tank is pink and yellow, so I am excited about this one. Also got about 6 polyps that broke off of a STUNNING teal pipe organ colony. I'd like to have more, but they will grow... unfortunately the main piece is in our display tank at work and not for sale.
