Im picking up my reed fish tommorow, after a longish wait. Would be a good idea to do a water change before i get them or after? Also i have sorted out my tank, filled the 2 corners at the top of the tank with filter sponge. However there is about a 5mm gap on the glass lid where the wire for the heater and internal filters go, They couldnt get through thius could they? or could they?
I was supposed to pick up the reed fish last tuesday, i went to the lfs, and even though they were reserved, they were not in the tank, the employee's were certain they had not sold them, he went round the back, and there they were on the floor.. dried up, must have escaped during the night. poor things
