I have a Hagen Elite Stingray filter (internal) and im trying to minimize the current/flow on it in my tank for the fishes sake.

What methods are there of doing this? I dont want to buy that filter/foam stuff that you buy that gos in your filter. Are there any home made methods?

Im sure i saw a picture of someones before with a bit of plastic? Unfortunately i cant find that post any more, i tried with a bit of plastic myself with it curving upwards to the surface of the water and even out of the water, and it just caused more disturbance because its being directly rapidly in one direction.

Someone help, post your methods :good:

The product description says it has an adjustable flow control. Have you been using this? Another possibility is to divert the output in a way that it points towards a corner or straight to the glass.

Does it, didnt know, where would that be, inside the filter? Tried putting against the glass and it makes alot of surface disturbance.

Edit: Just read and yeah it does. Guess i should read the manual if it had one.

Anyone know off the top of their head how it is done? Thanks.
