Redness At Tips Of Fins

The other aquarium is a 55 gallon and would require 6 times the dosage for what may turn out to be unnecessary medicating. I'll be keeping an eye out for any signs of illness but for now it doesn't look required. It's the price I've paid for slacking off on checking for illness.

She's already looking and acting better. The redness is starting to go away and she has quite the appetite for squash and zuccini. I'll keep her on the dose until at least Saturday to make sure she recovers. Then she'll be back at work laying eggs I hope.

Ok bless her but she not out of the woods yet, carry on with the med.
Good luck.

It's faded to a light pink now. I wasn't able to see it until I let her loose in the larger aquarium but I think she'll be okay. She definitely needs a bigger space after being trapped in that 10 gallon.

To be honest if it hasn't completely gone I would of done another round of meds.
I'm worried now that it might flare up again.

Ok.
Keep an eye on her as the chances are it could all flare up again.
Good luck.

I am, she's already laid eggs again I think as I saw my male is back in his cave like he was last time. I'm hoping that's a good sign she is feeling better. The redness has definitely gone down to a light pink but until it goes away and stays away, I'm watching closely. I'll be moving her and the male to another aquarium soon with some more peaceful fish and a lower lighting level which should help ease any stress she's still feeling.
