All right so I found there is still space in my aquarium hood for a normal light bulb socket so theoretically I can fit a socket somewhere in my aquarium and plug a bulb of certain wattage to it. But what bulb do I want? My current bulb has a pinkish tint to it and is called flora-bulb.

Good idea bad idea? I am thinking these lights will be good right?

ya you can do this for extra light but it will just about do nothing for the plants.

^^ and those are for marine???right

Well what can I put in a regular light socket that will do well on plants?

"Daylight" compact fluorescent lights. Their K rating start from 5000K and higher. The ones I got from Walmart is 6500K :D
:/ mm.. how many watts? and they are the same thing you jsut showed me in that link right? and they actually work?

ok.. now I just need to get a light socket and find a way to install it.. should I put a plastic shell around it?
