Hiya all,

I am running Co2 and i have 4 T6 lights running. At the moment i am dosing TPN+ once a week. I am doing it this way untill i purchase my own dry powders whish i will be mixing to instructions on James' planted tank website. I have some plants that are going slightly reddish and in particular my three AMAZON SWORD PLANTS have holes in the leaves.

What am i missing. I havnt used it yet but i have prchased some seachem flourish excel to help with algea and to help with iron.

thanks

Holes indicate Potassium defficiency. Maybe due to the once a week dose.

What size tank?
How much TPN+ are you dosing?
What wattage are the lights?
pressurized or fermentation CO2?

I would try dosing every 1-3 days rather than weekly. About 15ml.

As everything else is looking ok.

no worries... I will do a 50% water change tomorrow. I will then start the dosing as reccomended as well as adding the seachem flourish excel to control the algae and add a little iron and carbon. the holes are yellowing too. I have tried loads of times to add the photo but it wont happen. what site can i use to add a link?

photobucket or image shack are the main hosts used.
