I got a red zebra awhile ago, and I'm still not sure if it's a male or a female! I read that now there's a orange male variety, and egg spots can sometimes be used to tell. Are there any other good ways to tell if it's a male or female?

Thanks!

Males are usually more light orange/yellow and may have a blue sheen, females are generally darker orange. Usually if they have 5 or more eggspots they are male, though that isn't a certain identifier. You could alway vent him/her to tell for sure. Venting
