I have finnaly had my first fry :hyper: , the female is still holding but i noticed a little face under one of the pebbles which is on a rock, should i strip the female? or leave it, i put some flake food in to see if she would spit the fry to eat, but she hasn't eaten yet.

I decided to strip the female after watching a video on it, there may be 1 or 2 still with the female, 1 free roaming, and 11 in my fry net i made jus before stripping the female, now im gonna go clean up the mess (lots of polystyrene).
funny thing is that the female is the smallest and youngest in the tank, and succesfully held the first time, my yellow lab is the oldest and largest in the tank and has failed twice.

Congrats on your fry! IMO labs rarely hold successfully, that's why I recommend stripping them if you want to keep the fry. I had one female that only held successfully once out of about 5 spawns.
