good luck and that's a good idea...since mine are in a separate fry tank now, I plan to do same thing, quickly catch them all put them in a cup wiht new water then once i have them all clean and clean 
just so you know like i mentioned about mine, it's not good to vaccum them up, but they can survive it...in my previous fry of like 6 i had only caught 2 so 4 were sucked up by the vacuum all were ok....until their parents found them
