How much would a breeding pair of True Red Terror cichlids (Festae) be worth? I have two pairs that have bred numerous times in my 180 gallon tank. Currently I have young children and work 60+ hours a week resulting in me having less time to properly care for and appreciate them.

Different prices in different countries. In Australia a pr might go for $100.00 but they might sit in the shop for 6 months before they get sold. They aren't big sellers so most people take whatever they can get for them.

I would concur with Colin. Big aggressive Cichlids are often difficult to rehome, let alone sell, and I have seen a lot of them given away after attempts to sell them. If you can find someone who might want them, then you might get $50 around here.

I'll rephrase that. If you find someone with space for them, not one who wants them. They're easy to want. Your market is limited to people with fully set up tanks of over 100 gallons. It's a neat fish, and a beautiful one, but they aren't in high demand.

Have you tried aquabid and researched their history to see if any have been offered and sold and, if so, what they go for?

I learned many years ago at a fish auction that prices and values are only relative to individual people.
A bag of fish might elicit a $100 bid from one person but they next guy may value them at $5. It's all relative. You could find someone who really really wants to work with festae and pay big bucks, or someone not very interested that would only pay pennies on the dollar.
Nice looking fish BTW. Love the red.
