All,

My red tail shark recently came down with a nasty eye disorder. One of his eyes is red and appears to have fallen out. The other has this kind of white clear film over it and looks just like the other eye before it turned red and fell out. He is swimming, but is kindly swimming listfully in circles in my hospital tank. I have looked over the net but I have been unable to get a definate answer as to what this could be. I can email pics, since I don't know how to add pictures to this site.

The red in the eye did it look like bleeding.
Need water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Cloudy eye is a symtom of a desease not a desease in its own right.
Causes bad water quality, irratation, stress, poor diet, old age, parasites to bacterial.
Did the eye bulge out.

The eye was indeed bulging out and did look like it was bleeding. I honestly have to get the stats on the nitrate, amonina etc. This fish is about 2-3 years old.

I would add a bacterial med to the tank then.
Good luck.
