Is a Redtail catfish and a black arowana compatable in a 210 US gallon tank?

Then you need an absolute minimum of around 1,500 gallons.

You are looking at around 12x8x4 feet to give the RTC any chance of being able to move freely which I make around 2,400 uk gallons.

Remember these things get to 4 feet long (5 in the wild and there are unconfirmed reports of locals seeing them around the 6 to 7 feet mark). Certainly not a fish for the general amateur aquarist.

Tell that to the 5 footer swimming around in the amazon exhibit at the Aquatic Experience in Syon Park, London. The only reason RTC dont reach full size in captivity is because they die from being in tanks that are too small before they can, if you cant provide a minimum of a 16x6x6 foot tank within 2 years then you should not buy an RTC.

Oh and an RTC would eat a black arowana in a heart beat, long skinny fish like arowana's are just snacks for the monster cats.

It was about 160g and i saw that they had a gar, 2 giant gouramis :X and then i was like, hey, isnt that a red-tail catfish? The owner was like yeah! he loves it in there! Very happy with his friends! :-( :-( :-( :-(
