Red Spots

I have a 55 gallon fish tank with 2 goldfish and some other fishes. I mostly have concern for my goldfish right now. They are pretty big I'd say about5-6 inches long. Along the bellys of my fish are red bloches near fins and tail. If I cant post pictures at the moment.. if you have any ideas or suggestions please post. thanks

Red blotches are normally a sign of a bacterial infection; often caused by poor water quality.

How long has the tank been set up, was it cycled and exactly what other fish are in there? What filtration are you running, and what water changes do you do? Have you got any test results on your water?

All that info will help us pin down what's going on with your fish.
