One of my female guppies was completely fine yesteraday and this morning i woke to find a bunch of red speckles at her rear end. She seems to be swimming fine. Nitrite is at about 0.25ppm and ammonia is at 0. Nitrate sn't much above 10ppm. Could it be some sort of infection? Or could it be where others have hurt her?

Anyone? I am starting to get worried it may be fish TB as her spine is curving over, she is not swimming at all and her fins are clamped.

does it look like the red spots are on the skin or under it?

can you get a pic on at all?

fish tb has black spots.

It looks like the spots are under the skin. I can't get a picture right now because the battery is dead. I will try tomorrow if she's still here, but i really doubt she will be. She is going downhill fast.

Not good if the spine is curving is she bloated.
Do the spot look like small red pin pricks.
Red spots on skin can be caused by:
Regarding the small red dot, small pinprick like haemorrhages (called petechiae) can be due to a local lesion, a generalised septicaemia or toxaemia caused by acute viral and bacterial infections.

She isn't bloated, if anything she looks very skinny. The curving of the spine seems to be getting quickly worse. Yesterday it was only noticeable occasionally but now it is really curved and she looks like she is suffering :(

The spots do look like pin pricks, so it isn't looking good. I have treated the whole tank with a general treatment for bacteria, fungus and finrot as another of my platys looks to have fin rot. Hopefully this may help but at this stage i really doubt she is going to make it through the night.

I really hate to see her suffering, but i couldn't bring myself to end her suffering either. I hate watching her sit there, unable to move.

Sadly it pointing to fish tb bless her.
She's not going to make it I would end her suffering to be honest.
I will get you a link to tb so you can decide for yourself.

it really does seem like that. After where he spine bends, all the scales have gone white, her fins are rotting and it just looks like that end of her is dying. I am thinking about euthanasia because i don't want her to suffer any longer.
