Hi, I'm about to get a CO2 system and dont fancy a DIY solution (I'm useless!) so I have abeen looking at the Red Sea CO2 Pro System. Is this any good? Also I have looked at the JBL Easy Set 1, which would you recommend and if not either of this then what in their place?

Thanks :good:

Forget both! Whilst ok, they are expensive. Check out the link in my sig showing how to get a much better kit for less money using a fire extinguisher.

stormy,

i have the red sea pro system hooked up to a 2kg fire extingusher. Brilliant mate. easily copes with my 300l tank.

thumbs up :good:

I have the paintball system w/ solenoid. I've had it for about a year and so far I really like it. But I switched out the reactor w/ a ceramic diffuser, and I switched out the bubble counter for a different one.

I have also heard lots of good things about this site.

Try here zooplus JBL Easy set delivered for £66.00 or if your first purchase from them you get 10% off your first order making it £59.94, you could then buy a FE to add to the system at a later date.

Cheers Gordon

just remember that the red sea regulater does fit the uk standerd f/e screw fitting. not all regulaters match up with the fittings on co2 bottles. be aware! i made expensive mistake in the first instance....buying wrong type of co2 bottles etc... red sea + fe = :good:
