Red Platy Question

I have a Platy at the moment which looks like it has been pregnant but I have had it for over 5 months, I know that this is not normal.
Just wondering, here is a link to show what mine look like... These are not mine but mine is exactly the same.

Over fed.
If she were preggers she would be more 'boxy.'
Her body would drop away from her head at a much steeper angle and would climb back up to her tail at a much steeper angle too.

Mine used to look like that when they'd gorged on the Oto's algae wafers.
Cut down their feeding to every other day, & carefully monitor the amount you give them

shes been like it since i got her, she isntpregnant, but she has a big black patch, but unless shes aiming to be pregnant longer than people i dont know,i don't have any males either, so is it a species or is it just a wierd fish?
So what about the species in the video, are they overfed. I have a tsnk full of fish, this platy only gets feed twice a week, so i dont think its fat...
