hi everyone :D
i have had my tank cycling for about three weeks now i have put a few plants in and i think im ready to add my oscars! i have found two i really like at the local aquarium but the man there recommends i buy four or five and then take back what doesnt pair up but the two i like seemed to have paired up alreay should i follow his advice???

If you want to breed them, thats what you do,
by the way, what tank size is it you are putting them in?
and they will surely destroy the plants you put in there

DD

Yup, that's the only way to do it and get a nice, compatible pair. As long as you're tank is at least 75 gallons, you're good to go.

Oscars usually tear up plants, but they do so more in smaller tanks. Give them a good size tank and it is achievable.

dont know about gallons but its 3ftx2ftx2ft the next one for when they get bigger is going to be 5ftx3ftx3ft, is this any good as i dont want to cause them to suffer.
