red oscar

hi guys,
i saw a pair of cute red oscars and am planning to buy 'em. i have 120 gallon tank so i feel it should work out. but i do have a doubt. one of the oscars [ the female, its a breeding pair] has a small nodule around 2mm in diameter on the lower lip. the nodule is skin colored. the oscar seems pretty active. could this be some sort of a disease or something? any help would be appreciated.

yeah mine had the same thing sort of worried me a bit too. I think it is just when they scrounge around in the gravel for food they aggravate their lip. I switched to floating food over sinking and the problem went away???
