Red Ghost Shrimp? How Long Til Her Eggs Hatch?

i just need to know how long it takes before my female actually has the babies. how long do they usually have the eggs on their under side? also, i have one ghost shrimp with very bright red on its antenas, its claws, and its tail. is this breeding color or just a dif. variant?

It sounds like it might be a Rudolph or Red Nose Shrimp. If it is i don't think the babies will survive in fresh water, they are like Anamo shrimp and need Brackish water to survive.

all of my tanks have a high salt level anyway so i am not worried about that. i do not think it is a rudolph shrimp at all though. it looks just like a ghost, just with a bit of red on the antena, claws and tail. i am using omega one color enhancing flakes, could this be why??

It could well be why, my Anamo and ghost shrimp are more colourful eating Hikari Crab cuisine compared to algae tabs.

I don't think it is a rudolph shrimp now i've seen that, i'm guessing its a ghost shrimp, but couldn't say which species for certain.
