Red Eyed Tetra

Hi all,
Rite i have 2 red eyed tetras i only got 1 resently rite but i noticed today on my new one ihas this weird kind of thing on his chin.It sticks out bit like a ulser.It is like a bit bit of skin under his mouth and there seems to be a big line across his head like a collar.Have any of you got any idea of what this could be.

it could be any number of ailments from a tumor to a zit, or it could be a bacterial cyst caused by poor water quality.

It would help if you could get a picture (easier said than done)
what are your water parameters?

BTW, red eye tetras, like most tetras, are a schooling fish and should really be kept in groups of at least 5.

i knw i cant get a pic but the water is clear and he looked kinda piculiar when i bought him but he didnt have this stuff i am going to take him out and put him in something else

the water is clear

So is Ammonia and NitrIte
