I think they were 39p each down the lfs
I'm thinking of getting maybe 3 of them

weve got some they are a bit shy twnd to hang around behond the heater

got about 8 of em... when we got them we checked and i think it said they do best in groups of at least 5. in fact we were given the other 3 as they didnt want to leave em alone int he tank

I have one. He's been around for over 4 years now. I started with 6 but he killed all his buddies along with the 4 platties and 1 molly I had in the tank with him. I put him in with Bala's and a convict cichlid, thinking they'd show him, but now he just pretends to bully them around. Of course he doesn't get very far because theyare all huge and he is only about 2 inches.

IME they are Big bullies and will kill smaller fish than them. Well at least mine will. And he is not shy at all.....far from it!

yeah maybe I just got a bad apple! LOL

I wouldn't trade him for anything though. He is the one I used to cycle my 30 gallon when i got it 4 years ago!
He's a tough little bugger.

mine are all fairly small still. we got em and stuck em in a tank with tiny corys meanign to move em on when they got bigger, but now that tank has brush algae so they are stuck there til they DIE coz im not spreading the algae anywhere else. TIS DISGUSTING
