Red eye tetra

Ive been to see a mate of mine today and hes getting worried about one of his red eye tetras. It has some sort of growth on its side which is brown in colour.


Anyone know what it could be and how to cure it

The growth has now got bigger....can anyone advise on what to do???

Sorry Deano I don't know,

The only thing I can think is to check parameters. Is it a fungus like growth (like cotton wool) or something else?

Its my mates fish thats having the problem so im not sure of his parameters.

It isnt like cotton wool its more of a brownish coloured lump
