I bought a Red Devil almost two months ago. I got him at about 1 and a half inches long, at the very most. The thing is, he hasn't grown at all, atleast as far as I or my room mates could tell. He eats well and poos a ton. o.o

what size tank is he in, growth rate is variable depending on his life conditions and diet. you should be looking for about 1.5" a month

He's in a 55g. Not great for full size but still shouldn't be stunting growth at this size.

what type of diet is he on?
are you planning on getting a bigger tank for him when he grows?

Flakes every day but I add pellets and blood worms every other day or so.

ok maybe theres too much nitrates in the water, do a water change and again tomorrow thats all i can recommend.

To make a fish grow fast you need to do 3 things:

1) Feed it plenty 3 times a day with high protien food (unless its a cold water fish, African lake cichlids or herbivorous fish)
2) Keep the temperature at 28C or slightly higher
3) Do exessive water changes (30-40% every week)

All 3 are important but you need to get your filter to be able to take the load of excess feeding.
