Hi All,

I seen some cherry shrimp at my LFS and they were so fun to watch.

Could i put a couple in my tank??

I have platty/neons and assassin snails.

I dont want them to get killed so just thought i would kindly ask you guys for advise??

Thanks,

Dave

They'll be fine, Shrimp can move fast when they want to.

Shrimps will be fine in there.

That depends a lot whether they can hide. The platies are fairly hungry bunch and won't leave alone the shrimpletts when born. The assasins may gobble them up too. The adults maybe big enough to be eaten though.

I had transferred a "pest" platy fry via the floating plants to my shrimp tank. I decided to let it be until I saw it actively hunting shrimpletts inside the moss :) He wasn't able to eat them at once but surely he was nipping the hell out of them.
