Hi Guys
I have currenty removed my baby red cherry shrimp from my main tank,
treating a problem with white spot.
I have removed 2 cory and 1 large plec and put them in a 12 liter quarantine tank and have treated with recomended dose of salt for size of tank.
The tank has small internal sponge filter and heater ticking over a regular temp.

The tank was set up this morning (4-5 hours ago) with tap water.(de-chlorinated)

Question:

I have baby shrimp in bucket no air or filter or heat, can i introduce them to the quarantine tank in a breeding net...?
Will they be OK with the treated water. (salt..!)

A bit stuck no where to put shrimp.....!

Please advise

Regards

Once a fish has whitespot you are better off treating the whole tank instead of moving them.

I would add the shrimp to the 12 litre quarantine tank once salt has been removed with water changes.

You should of filled the quarantine tank up with main tank water. then just add some fresh water to fill the tank to the top.

You should aways match temp and ph when moving fish.
Has the filter cycled in the quarantine tank.
