Recommended savenger for 3 gallon? Filter current?

I've yet to move my betta to a 3 gallon eclipse tank, but will be soon. Any advice on an appropriate tank mate that could tidy the tank up a little, or is that all up to me? Any recommended snail or shrimp that would safely work?

Also, will the filter current in an eclipse 3 tank annoy my betta? If so, any suggestions on something to put into the tank to give him a current-free zone to rest? I have already put some real plants in there.

I'm of the opinion that you are the best clean up crew. But I know folks keep ghost shrimp or apple/mystery snails with their bettas with no problems.

i would recommend a large apple snail, they can be kept alone, eat everything, and cant eat or be eaten by ur betta

Actually, a lot of people's bettas eat the eyestalks of the snail . If you do want a filter, I'd reccoment the SmallWorld air powered filter. You don't even have to keep buying refils, the plastic easily snaps so you can get rid of the carbo, rinse the sponge, customise the media, whatever.
