Hi Everyone, im looking for a bit of advice for the right equipment required for setting up a marine Community. i am looking to buy a juwel trigon 190, just wondered what type of Skimmer, Filter etc would be best suited to this tank.

Any info much appreciated.

if u have a look back on some old threads there are some similar and some useful links ..

Go down the line of LEDs if you have the cash. Two really good units are the Reefbeam 120 and Kessil A350W but they will set you back about £350-£380. Live rock will act as your filter and if you leave the filter box in the tank then you can fill it with macro algae. A simple heater 150-200W and powerhead from the filter box and circulation pumps. Vortech MP 40 is good but expensive. A cheaper option would be to look at Tunze circulation pumps. As a rule of thumb 20x tank volume is the amount of circulation you want.

Hope this belated reply helps.

Kindest regards
