Recommend Me A Cheap Largish Air Pump

I need a air pump capable of creating a bubble wall across the back of my 4ft x 2ft x 2ft tank (so the bubbles go from side to side covering the whole back wall)

Needs to be a decent price,can anyone recommend me one? I have seen loads on the net but don't know what to go for.

I am using a tetratec APS400 in my 4ft x 2ft tank, I have 3 air curtains all joined together to create a double wall along the whole length of the back of the tank. This pump works to do this, I have tried a smaller pump but the air only reaches about half way along the air curtain.

Thanks mate,I was looking at these but I didnt think they would be strong enough...but hey,if it works for you it will work for me...and tehy are cheap so i'm gonna get one

I dont think you will manage a "cheap" airpump to cover that much space mate. But I must say TetraTec air pumps are the kind of pumps you dont realise are there, they are so quiet!

Well to be fair when i say 'cheap' I mean under £50 and the pump Star recommended is under £30 so i'm well happy with that

I too have a TetraTec APS400 in my 4ft 300L tank running aircurtains and it works well, although mine has just ripped it's bellows. I'm not sure if the pressure was to high, (perhaps I didn't have enough outlets for the air), but a replacement pack is only about a fiver anyway
I don't think there will be any worries at all about it not providing enough air

I run my tanks with box filters and have a number of these pumps. I can have complete filtration for 2 55 gallon tanks with each one. They are excellent. Their design looks strange, but the just set on their four legs and this keeps the main part off the ground and limits noise and vibrations. It should have two outlets and each can be split to connect more lines, if necessary.
