Recently Joined

Well me son told me about this forum and so I decided to join.

We have a couple of 39 gallons for the kids and a 10 gallon in the kitchen.

This week I have recieved 2 142 gallon. (yes not a misprint) 72 inch long tanks and am awaiting the stands.

I have 4 Fluval 404's and a bunch of other stuff coming from Big Als.

The larger tanks are extremely nice with glass tops and HEAVY. It took 4 of us to move the one empty one up on our second floor.

Last week made a few trips over to Lake Houston and secured some absolutly outstanding pieces of driftwood. Soaked in bleach to kill the critters and then pressure washed all 6 pieces with a 4000 11 hp Honda pressure washer. You can now eat them they are so clean.

Don't expect to put fish in until the cycleing has completed. Maybe about a month. I plan on useing fish caught in a minnow trap same as I did previously and then releasing them back into the lake.........

Anyway, just thought I woul say hello.
