Rearing Brine Shrimp

Never rasied brine shrimp, but the floating things may be the egg cases.

Brineshrimp eggs will be brown whereas the newly hatch shrimp (nauplii) are an orange colour. Once hatched you seperate the eggs from shrimp and start feeding them with green water. They don't eat straight away but they start within a few days.

Decapsulated brineshrimp eggs. The shells have been removed/dissolved with mild bleach. Leaving the cysts, which are perfectally viable.
Just means less mess with no empty shell caseings when you wish to feed brineshrimp nauplii to fry.
