is it possible to sex 1 week old fry and if it is how do you

sorry 1 week is far too young to sex fry if livebearing, mollies and platys sex out at about 10-16 weeks and guppies 8 weeks onwards, unless you have a breed of fish that has definate colouration differences between the adults eg moscow guppy males can sex out sooner if kept in the correct conditions.

Yeah, one week is way too young. The males are going to have a very pointed anal fin whereas the females are going to have a very rounded anal fin. You should be able to tell in around a month or so at the most.
