Really In Need Of A Large Fire Eel.

been on the look out now for a fire eel. i cannot seem to find any over 6 inch in length. does anyone know of the best place to get one from.
also someone told me that freshwater snowflake moray eels would also be nice but i thought they only did marine moray eels???
any help really appreciated.

hi yes i have been looking night and day also preloved gumtree but nothing for sale.

I have the same problem, all these fish in Europe, that I never see here.

I have the same problem, all these fish in Europe, that I never see here.

Most, if not all my fish I now get mail ordered as most of my LFS don't seem to have what I'm after. Don't get me wrong I don't have or never have had any rare kinds of fish but at the same time I don't just want to go out and buy something that a lot of other people I happen to know own... If you get what I mean. When it comes to tanks it's a harder to get a bargain, not many people in my area own and/or sell bigger tanks that I'm interested in. They all seem to be tanks in the region of 100-200 litres (25-50US gallons) which for the fish I like to keep would be unsuitable. Makes it worse not having suitable transport to travel further for bigger tanks

hi i would also be interested if you could get a picture or find a similar image on google to show me then that would be great. i do travel up and down the country. i see your in essex which is nearly 200miles away but if fish can be sent via post im sure if i collect with a polly box i could get them home safe and sound.

Hopefully I'm going there this weekend and it is a quite large eel and from what I have seen of it and the warning signs say it does bite. I'll try and find a pic on google to show you if I don't get one from my lfs in the mean time

is it definatly a freshwater fish?
seems like a zebra moray eel... dont think there is a freshwater one of those
