Really Big Fish

Hi, My sister has a 3 foot tank with about 20 fish in it (I could'nt tell you what just the normal community tank)
I went to visit her a little while ago and her fish are absolutely massive, I mean her guppies are the size of a big molly, she bought 2 guppies at my lps when came to visit me 2 weeks prior to me going there and when I visited these guppies had tripled in size, and her mollies are literally the biggest mollies I have ever seen, has anyone got any idea as to how she is doing this, she does'nt even know her self alls she feeds them is flake in the morning and night and frozen brine shrimp and blood worm at lunch time, she would like to know has anyone got any idea's what she is doing to get them so big or what could be causing this......

How big are these giant fish? It could be that they were only juveniles and have now reached adult hood!

Yeah i agree with natsuko, how many inches long are they roughly? When petshops sell livebearers they are usually only half grown.

I wouldn't be surprised if the frozen food contributed to their growth. Fish grow fast and large when they have a lot of meaty food in their diet.

Fish (all beings) grow fat if they have a lot of meaty protein high foods you know. That is probably why.

Yup, frozen food will make your fish grow faster. So would live food.

I agree with inchworm, as i feeding some gouramis the same bloodworms and brimestrimp frozen and they have doubled in size in two weeks.
