Is it normal for fish to have white poo?...Like my betta makes red poo because he eats red food...but it has a bit of white stuff it in...like a break in the poo? example. (I made the colour yellow stand for the white poo) ___________________________

This happens with my pleco too, but its black instead of red

lol - nice pic of the poo

No its not normal, depends what they have been eating though. What do you feed them on ?

White stringy poo can be symptomatic of other internal / digestive problems.

I dont keep Bettas, so maybe post in that section too. But I have a few plecs and sometimes their poops ago kinda thin in places and a slightly lighter colour.
Try not feeding the plec as much and change the betta food and see if it improves.
I use the Hikari algae wafer for my plecs, I have 1 about 6" and one about 7" long and I only put 2 wafers in every 2 or 3 days, if you feed them alot they get lazy I think.

I feed my platys tetra pro flakes and they do that in my platys poo. never really thought abut it but they seem really healthy.

Gaz

my golfish sometimes get this i beleive it to be air pockets in the poo - often symptomatic of intaking too much air when feeding from the surface. this is often caused by fish fighting for food or being offered flakes over sinking pellets.

enjoy your poo xx
