Real Plants

I want to re-do my tank with plants and I want to get real plants. I know theres different types, but do you have to care for them specially? Or do you just put them in. What exactly do you do to keep them alive?

Hi, I have real plants and I just plant them in the gravel and away they go! If you want them to look really nice I think you do need to give them special care. Mine look quite nice but if you look in the planted tank section mine don't look as nice as that.
