PLEASE HELP AS THERE IS NOT MUCHWATER LEFT UNDER THE TANK kind regards john

Firstly, welcome to the forum and I'm sorry to hear about your neighbour. Secondly you've come to the right place!

Do you know if it it is a salt water or fresh water tank? I'm assuming that if it is a fish "like Nemo" then it'll be marine, in which case I personally will be of no use to you whatsoever, sorry. If it is definitely marine (rocks with stuff growing on them and a general ocean-like look I would guess) then you may be better off asking in the marine section further down the forum (just go to the main forum homepage and scroll down).

Get back to us if it turns out to be fresh water and we'll try to help as best we can.

Good luck,
Jo

It sounds like a lovely tank and I'm sure your neighbour would have been thrilled that you were trying so hard to take care of something that must have been their pride and joy. I expect it'll be a weight off the family's mind too knowing it's in hand.
Good luck again!

Where are you located? It may be easier if someone showed you what to do as it will make more sense.
