Ready For Birth Or Not

i have a female yellow guppy and she has a black spot with brown specs in it. she has been chillen at the top for awhile and hasnt been eating much. she floats at the top and twitches. is she ready or does she have teretz.

i had two females and a male and the one i thought was preg died due to stess from the male before i could even set up a birthing tank . is it normal for the male to totally ignore one female and be obsessed with the other.
