Re-Stocking Help

Hi,

I think my tank has now recovered from a recent mysterious spate of deaths. In the space of a few days 5 tiger barbs & one platy died but me nor no-one on here could pin down exactly what was happening. It's been about 2-3 weeks now since anything has died and I'm looking to add some more fish in a week or so.

I realise Tiger barbs should be kept in 6 or more shoals so I'd like to re-stock them but seeing as they were the main ones to die I'm not sure if this would be the best thing to do (I currently have 2 TB's and are getting along fine with the other fish). My other option is to add some more zebra danio's to my existing 6?

Any ideas would be great. It's a 60L tank been set-up for about 4 months with an external oversized filter.

What all do you have in there right now?

Also, I don't know for sure but 15 gallons seems kinda small to have a school of tigers or danios...

60 litres isn't really enough space for either species, despite what a lot of fish stores will tell you.

Have you had your water tested?

Tbh, I'd consider rehoming your TBs and getting some smaller fish.
